Joe Wool Linen Shirt is the summer edition of our Joe Woven Shirt. Made of a unique blend of 53% superfine Merino wool and 47% strong and durable linen. Combine the airy look of linen with Merino wool and you get a dress shirt that is just a little more lavish, and a little more wrinkle-resistant. A dress shirt that does not fade and does not lose its shape. In short, the best of both worlds. Add to that an eye-catching ‘paramontura’ collar, which stands up even without a tie. Keep the top buttons of your Joe Wool Linen Shirt casually unbuttoned for a lazy day at the beach. Or pair the shirt with nice chinos or denims for an elegant night out.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Add the stylish sense and fit of Joe Woven Shirt to a unique mix of 53% superfine Merino wool and 47% strong and durable linen. Stir, and you’ll get a dress shirt with the summery airy look of linen but with the advantages of wool. One of linen’s typical features is it tendency to wrinkle. The addition of wool makes sure the wrinkles are charming, not shabby. Also thanks to the wool, the shirt does not fade and does not lose its shape. The eye-catching paramontura collar complements the distinguished look. Machine-washable, obviously. After washing a little touch-up with an iron is enough.
53% superfine Merino wool and 47% linen
The Joe Wool Linen Shirt is woven in Piemonte (Italy) from 47% strong and durable linen (from France) and 53% superfine Merino wool (from Australia). A rare international mix that oozes summer with its airy linen look but comes with the benefits of wool: more wrinkle-resistant, colour-fast and shape-retaining. The paramontura collar is cut from one piece and stays up. Just a little touch-up with an iron after washing and you’re good to go.
HOW TO CARE FOR MERINO WOOL
Despite the linen, Joe Linen Woven Shirt needs no more care than any other Joe. The antibacterial properties of the Merino wool will keep your Joe Linen Woven Shirt fresh for a long while without washing. Airing overnight is usually enough to get rid of any odours.
But it can’t hurt to wash your dress shirt occasionally. It’s easy. In the machine, on the wool setting (30° maximum, 600 rpm maximum). Because of the Merino wool, your shirt will shrink less. Touch up with an iron and presto. Read the care instructions below and you can’t go wrong.

Cool shirt
Cool shirt. Looks great and feels great. I wear XL for sweaters etc., unfortunately I had to order the shirt in XXL because it is a bit too tight around the stomach (age 72). Now the sleeves are too long and the shoulders a bit too wide. I'm keeping it anyway because it's an exceptional piece!
