Joe Spencer
Joe Spencer has a slightly lower V-neck and a refined finishing along the armholes and neck. A tad thicker than our V-neck (comparable to our Joe Zip), in a fancy two-ply (knitted with two yarns twisted together). Made of 100% extra fine Merino wool (19.5 micron).
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The lower V-neck and finishing along the armholes take Joe Spencer out of Dullsville and straight into Funky Town. For anyone who’s ready to spice up their wardrobes. To be worn over a dress shirt (with a necktie even, if you feel so inclined), or over a T-shirt if you want to play it casual.
100% EXTRA FINE MERINO WOOL
The extra fine Merino wool Joe uses is about 19.5 micron thick. The structure and fineness of our Merino wool are the reasons our Joes feel soft and are not prickly.
Merino wool is praised world wide for its softness, strength, breathability and temperature regulating benefits. In addition, merino wool is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. All these beautiful natural properties make merino wool an extremely comfortable fabric to wear. Perfect for all seasons!
HOW TO CARE FOR MERINO WOOL
Thanks to Merino wool’s antibacterial qualities, you don’t have to wash your Joe very often. Just air your Joe outside for a night, and he will be ready for wear the next day!
Still, we recommend washing your Joe every now and then. You can do this simply and easily on the wool wash cycle in the washing machine (30° maximum, spin cycle no more than 600 rpm.). Take a look at the maintenance instructions below for best results.

Great piece, new with stains
I ordered the Joe Spencer Interesting pullover for a special occasion. Unfortunately, it arrived with an approximately 8 mm stain across the left breast. So, I didn't want to wear the pullover to the party. With a little effort and patience, I was able to largely remove the stain, presumably grease. Other small stains aren't noticeable in the mottled color. Not a big deal, but shouldn't happen with a new item. The fit is a bit looser than the vest, but very good. The Interesting color is really strong!
