SHORTS WOVEN

Joe Shorts Woven are stylish but comfortable. Stylish because they sport loops to wear with a belt on more formal occasions. Comfortable thanks to the elastic waistband with adjustable drawstring. With 2 side pockets, including an extra hidden zipper pocket and 2 back pockets (1 with hidden zipper). No need to bring a man’s purse. Everything you need can be discretely stashed away.

Beautifully deep denim blue with a subtle grey undertone. Works with almost anything.

The Miraculous Micron

Joe uses ultrafine, superfine and extrafine Merino wool for its essentials. The difference is in the micron count. One micron equals one millionth of a metre, and refers to the diameter of the Merino fibre. The lower the micron count, the thinner the fibre, and the softer the wool feels on your skin. The reason? Thin fibres are more flexible, and caress your skin on contact.


Light weight

Joe’s thin pullovers. At 170 to 310 grammes literally lightweight. First level of coziness. The first pullover you get out when seasons change.

Mid weight

A textbook pullover. At 260 to 560 grammes a little heavier and warmer than their thin cousins. Great for autumn and winter.

Heavy weight

Our warmest Joes for when temperatures are at their lowest. At 450 to 950 grammes your Joe turns into your personal heater that will help you through any winter.

Delivery is free of charge within the EU. Once your order leaves our warehouse we will send you a Track & Trace code to track your order and the time of delivery.

Returns | 100-day return period

Returns are free of charge within the EU. There are two ways to return your order:

  1. 1) You can use a carrier of your choice. Please follow the instructions that came with your order.
  2. 2) Go to one of our brick and mortar stores in Amsterdam, Leidschendam, Antwerp or Düsseldorf.

Sustainability

Sustainability and Joe go hand in hand. Let us tell you why:

- Joe stands for slow fashion. Meaning we do not bring out seasonal collections, but only styles that will last you all year round for many years. For the same reason we don’t “do” sales and do not keep stocks that must be destroyed by season’s end.

- All our styles are made of Merino wool, if not fully at least partially. Wool is one of the most sustainable materials used for clothing. It is all natural, fully biodegradable, plastic-free and recyclable. And not unimportant – we only use Merino wool produced by non-mulesed sheep.

- When dyeing, we always go for the most sustainable process that uses as few chemicals as possible. Our dyeing process is ‘bluesign’-certified. The lack of chemicals is one of the reasons why our Joes hardly pill.

- All our packaging is made of 100% biodegradable cardboard and recycled and recyclable plastics.

- And lastly: with our fits that are constant and dependable (not so easy with woollen items as you might think) and our smart size calculator we have minimised the number of returns.

Joe Shorts Woven are made of our durable and lasting Tech Wool. A luxurious blend of 55% RWS-Merino wool, 41% recycled polyester and 4% elastane. Breathable and extremely comfy thanks to the Merino wool. Superstrong and stretchy (4-way_ thanks to the recycled polyester and the elastane. No way are these shorts going to fade or lose their shape. These are shorts that will last you for a long and happy time.

How to care for Merino wool

Thanks to Merino wool’s antibacterial qualities, you don’t have to wash your Joe very often. Just air your Joe outside for a night, and he will be ready for wear the next day!

Just throw your woven pants into the machine, and select the wool setting (30 °C, max. 600 RPM). It’s always better to wash with similar colours! To prevent damage, close buttons and zippers before washing.

Take care of your Joe

  1. Wool wash at 30° and max. 600 rpm
  2. Use wool detergent, no softeners
  3. No tumble dry (could be deadly)
  4. Dry flat
  5. Iron away with a little steam
  6. No bleach, this will kill the colour
