Sunny Joe Alpine Winter Special
Merino wool comes with a natural SPF (sun protection factor) of no less than 40+. Fabrics like cotton and polyester, which as a rule do not go beyond SPF 10, do not even come close. Also wool is naturally breathable, soft and absorbs odours. In short, ideal for a sunny winter break. That’s a no-brainer.
Still, there will always be some body parts that are not protected by Merino wool. Even we get that. So Joe has come up with a special. With any order from the Alpine Collection we throw in a Joe Sunscreen SPF 30 for free (worth EUR 20). The sunscreen is automatically added to your order. You don’t need to do anything. But note: just one per order, and only until 24 December or while stocks last.

Alpine Zip
Joe Alpine Zip is our classic Zip’s sturdy and sporty brother. Made of 100% extrafine Merino wool (19.5 micron) with a retro look, Alpine Zip is not only snug and smart, but is also a pleasure to wear with room to move.
Alpine Pully
Joe Alpine Pully is an amazingly soft, thin, stretchy turtleneck pullover. Best base layer ever. Made of 100% superfine Merino wool.
Ski Sock
Joe’s perfect ski socks featuring cushioning zones for your instep and shin. Made of 79% Merino wool, reinforced with 13% spandex, 6% elastane and 2% nylon for functionality and elasticity. A snug and warm fit. Even if you don’t slide or glide down a hill.
Properties of merino wool
Temperature-Regulating
Unlike synthetics, Merino wool fibres are active fibres that respond to changes in your body temperature. So when you’re cold, wool keeps you warm and it keeps you cool when you’re warm.
Breathable
Merino wool is one of the most breathable fibres that can absorb large quantities of moisture vapour and then let it evaporate. No clingy clothes again, you keep cool and dry.
Antibacterial
Merino wool is naturally antibacterial, which means less sweat on your body. Merino wool even absorbs sweat’s odour molecules, which are released only upon washing. No sweat, no stink. Stay fresh!
Soft on your skin
The Merino wool fibres used by Joe (19.5 micron) are extremely fine and much more flexible than traditional, coarser, wool fibres. That is why Merino wool feels so soft and sumptuous on your skin. Definitely not scratchy!

Easy to refresh
The antibacterial properties of Merino wool make Joe's clothes last a long time without washing. Often your Joe just hanging out overnight is enough to be able to handle him fresh the next day!

But if you do need to wash your Joe, easy peasy.
Joe's Snow pullovers are machine washable on the wool setting (at no more than 30°, max 600 rpm.).

Joe has an easy going policy: you can return your unworn Joe's within a 100-day period and get your money back immediately. Exchanging for another colour or product is of course also possible.
