Sophisticated short-sleeve polo shirt with open collar (and by open we mean: no buttons). We used 100% ultrafine Merino wool for Joe Shirt Polo, and that is what makes this different from a regular cotton polo shirt. For those in the know: Joe Shirt Polo has a yarn weight of 165 gr./m2.

Limestone Grey is the cool colour of faded elegance. The grey of limestone cliffs that have defied wind and water through the ages. A timeless classic that is easily paired with jeans, light chinos or navy shorts.

Returns are free of charge within the EU. There are two ways to return your order:

  1. 1) You can use a carrier of your choice. Please follow the instructions that came with your order.
  2. 2) Go to one of our brick and mortar stores in Amsterdam, Leidschendam, Antwerp or Düsseldorf.

Sustainability

Sustainability and Joe go hand in hand. Let us tell you why:

- Joe stands for slow fashion. Meaning we do not bring out seasonal collections, but only styles that will last you all year round for many years. For the same reason we don’t “do” sales and do not keep stocks that must be destroyed by season’s end.

- All our styles are made of Merino wool, if not fully at least partially. Wool is one of the most sustainable materials used for clothing. It is all natural, fully biodegradable, plastic-free and recyclable. And not unimportant – we only use Merino wool produced by non-mulesed sheep.

- When dyeing, we always go for the most sustainable process that uses as few chemicals as possible. Our dyeing process is ‘bluesign’-certified. The lack of chemicals is one of the reasons why our Joes hardly pill.

- All our packaging is made of 100% biodegradable cardboard and recycled and recyclable plastics.

- And lastly: with our fits that are constant and dependable (not so easy with woollen items as you might think) and our smart size calculator we have minimised the number of returns.

The ultrafine Merino wool Joe uses is about 16.5 micron thick. The structure and fineness of our Merino wool are the reasons our Joes feel soft and are not prickly.

All these beautiful natural properties make merino wool an extremely comfortable fabric to wear. Perfect for all seasons!

How to care for Merino wool

Thanks to Merino wool’s antibacterial qualities, you don’t have to wash your Joe very often. Just air your Joe outside for a night, and he will be ready for wear the next day!

Still, we recommend washing your Joe every now and then. You can do this simply and easily on the wool wash cycle in the washing machine (30° maximum, spin cycle no more than 600 rpm). Take a look at the maintenance instructions below for best results.

Take care of your Joe

  1. Wool wash at 30° and 600 rpm max
  2. Use wool detergent, no softeners
  3. No tumble drying
  4. Dry flat
  5. Iron away with a little steam
  6. No bleach
