Joe Rain Baseball Cap

Cool cap made of a smooth blend of Merino wool and silk. Soft, shiny and sumptuous. And that’s not all. Also water-resistant, windproof and 100% PFAS free. The ultimate complimentary companion to Joe Raincoat, Field Jacket and Parka.

Intensely black as only wool can be. No blend but a rich black. And stays black, doesn’t become dull like cotton sweaters/shirts.

The Miraculous Micron

Joe uses ultrafine, superfine and extrafine Merino wool for its essentials. The difference is in the micron count. One micron equals one millionth of a metre, and refers to the diameter of the Merino fibre. The lower the micron count, the thinner the fibre, and the softer the wool feels on your skin. The reason? Thin fibres are more flexible, and caress your skin on contact.

Delivery | Order before 2:00 pm and we’ll send out your order that same day

Delivery is free of charge within the EU. Once your order leaves our warehouse we will send you a Track & Trace code to track your order and the time of delivery.

Returns | 100-day return period

Returns are free of charge within the EU. There are two ways to return your order:

  1. 1) You can use a carrier of your choice. Please follow the instructions that came with your order.
  2. 2) Go to one of our brick and mortar stores in Amsterdam, Leidschendam, Antwerp or Düsseldorf.

Sustainability

Sustainability and Joe go hand in hand. Let us tell you why:

- Joe stands for slow fashion. Meaning we do not bring out seasonal collections, but only styles that will last you all year round for many years. For the same reason we don’t “do” sales and do not keep stocks that must be destroyed by season’s end.

- All our styles are made of Merino wool, if not fully at least partially. Wool is one of the most sustainable materials used for clothing. It is all natural, fully biodegradable, plastic-free and recyclable. And not unimportant – we only use Merino wool produced by non-mulesed sheep.

- When dyeing, we always go for the most sustainable process that uses as few chemicals as possible. Our dyeing process is ‘bluesign’-certified. The lack of chemicals is one of the reasons why our Joes hardly pill.

- All our packaging is made of 100% biodegradable cardboard and recycled and recyclable plastics.

- And lastly: with our fits that are constant and dependable (not so easy with woollen items as you might think) and our smart size calculator we have minimised the number of returns.

45% MERINO WOOL, 45% POLYESTER, 5% SILK AND 5% SPANDEX

Wool is naturally resistant to moisture and wind. Just ask the sheep. Joe Rain Baseball Cap is made of 45% merino wool. For functionality, we added 45% polyester, 5% silk and 5% spandex to the merino wool. Because of the three layers and the unique membrane technology, Joe Rain Baseball Cap is guaranteed to be water-repellent and windproof. Without the use of questionable coating methods, so also absolutely 100% PFAS-free.

Maintenance

Unlike most Joes, this is an item you should not throw into the washing machine. Better leave it to the professionals and take your cap to the dry cleaners if need be.
