I like the cut and color of the product, which looks high-quality. It has a slim and attractive cut. However, it's too slim, and the sleeves are extremely long, so I was a bit surprised that someone has such long arms. The model wearing the coat seems to have been photo-manipulated in terms of arm length; even at 185 cm, her arms can barely be 70 cm long. That's how long the arm length is for a size L. Otherwise, everything about the coat is perfect: the color, the material, and the cut.
Mir gefällt der Schnitt und die Farbe an dem Produkt, das hochwertig ausschaut. Es ist schlank und attraktiv geschnitten. Allerdings zu schlank und die Ärmel sind extrem lang, so dass ich etwas überrascht war, welcher Mensch solch lange Arme hat. Das Model, das den Mantel trägt, scheint hinsichtlich der Armlänge fototechnisch manipuliert zu sein, denn selbst bei einer Größe von 185 cm können die Arme kaum 70 cmm lang sein. So lang ist aber die Armlänge bei der Größe L. Ansonsten stimmt alles an dem Mantel, die Farbe, das Material und der Schnitt.
Wow – another gem in the collection. This is the first piece where I had to deviate from the standard size M to wear something underneath. For summer, with a thin shirt underneath, this would look extremely "sleek" in the standard size, almost tailor-made, but you'd have to do without another layer underneath. Therefore, an exchange – which, by the way, is completely hassle-free, with no extra charge for returns, and you get a new piece immediately – to size L was necessary. Perfect for the transitional season with a mid-layer underneath. The color is also great.
Wow - ein weiteres Sahnestück in der Kollektion. Das erste Teil, bei dem ich von der Standardgröße M abweichen musste, um noch etwas darunter tragen zu können. Für denn Sommer mit dünnem Shirt drunter sähe das in Standardgröße extrem "schnittig" aus, fast wie maßgeschneidert, nur auf eine weitere Schicht drunter muss verzichtet werden. Deshalb war ein Umtausch - der übrigens völlig unkompliziert möglich ist, ohne extra Verrechnung bei Rücksendung, sonders es geht sofort ein neues Teil auf Reisen - auf Größe L nötig. Prima für die Übergangszeit mit Zwischenschicht darunter. Farbe ist ebenfalls klasse..

Joe’s classy rain coat. Made of 45% Merino wool, 45% polyester, 5% silk and 5% spandex for added comfort. Wind-proof and water-resistant (100% PFAS free). With the contemporary fit that Joe is known for. With a detachable hood, three inner pockets (no less than two with zippers), sealed seams and a back split to allow for more movement.
An intensely deep dark blue colour that combines elegant black with trusty tasteful navy. There’s a reason the big Italian fashion houses always include this colour in their collections.

The Miraculous Micron
Joe uses ultrafine, superfine and extrafine Merino wool for its essentials. The difference is in the micron count. One micron equals one millionth of a metre, and refers to the diameter of the Merino fibre. The lower the micron count, the thinner the fibre, and the softer the wool feels on your skin. The reason? Thin fibres are more flexible, and caress your skin on contact.
Light weight
Joe’s thin pullovers. At 170 to 310 grammes literally lightweight. First level of coziness. The first pullover you get out when seasons change.
Mid weight
A textbook pullover. At 260 to 560 grammes a little heavier and warmer than their thin cousins. Great for autumn and winter.
Heavy weight

- Joe stands for slow fashion. Meaning we do not bring out seasonal collections, but only styles that will last you all year round for many years. For the same reason we don’t “do” sales and do not keep stocks that must be destroyed by season’s end.
- All our styles are made of Merino wool, if not fully at least partially. Wool is one of the most sustainable materials used for clothing. It is all natural, fully biodegradable, plastic-free and recyclable. And not unimportant – we only use Merino wool produced by non-mulesed sheep.
- When dyeing, we always go for the most sustainable process that uses as few chemicals as possible. Our dyeing process is ‘bluesign’-certified. The lack of chemicals is one of the reasons why our Joes hardly pill.
- All our packaging is made of 100% biodegradable cardboard and recycled and recyclable plastics.
- And lastly: with our fits that are constant and dependable (not so easy with woollen items as you might think) and our smart size calculator we have minimised the number of returns.

45% MERINO WOOL, 45% POLYESTER, 5% SILK AND 5% SPANDEX
Wool is naturally resistant to moisture and wind. Just ask the sheep. Joe Raincoat is made of 45% merino wool. For functionality, we added 45% polyester, 5% silk and 5% spandex to the merino wool. Because of the three layers and the unique membrane technology, Joe Raincoat is guaranteed to be water-repellent and windproof. Without the use of questionable coating methods, so also absolutely 100% PFAS-free.
How to care for Merino wool
Unlike most of Joe's products, you cannot machine wash this jacket.
The jacket can take a hit but if you do need to clean it, take it to the dry cleaner.
That way, your jacket will stay nice for the longest possible time.
