Jan Merino Vest
Jan Merino Cardigan is a home-grown, home-spun badass cardigan, made for 80% of Dutch wool and 20% of Dutch alpaca (to soften the tough). Knit in Lichtenvoorde.
What to expect
Nice and sturdy cardigan for hard work and hard wear. No concessions in terms of fit, Jan Merino Cardigan sports the well-known Joe fit. Although a tiny bit less soft than our regular cardigans, Jan Merino Cardigan pairs perfectly with a dress shirt or T-shirt.
Take Jan Merino Cardigan out for a walk, into the garden or the greater outdoors, on a skiing or on a biking trip. Or you could turn the thermostat down a notch, and simply stay in.
100% DUTCH WOOL
The Jan Merino is made of a blend of 80% Dutch sheep wool, and 20% Dutch alpaca wool. The Alpaca adds to the softness. With a thickness of 26 micron, the pullover is not as soft as our regular Joes but has a bolder look.
HOW TO CARE FOR MERINO WOOL
Thanks to Merino wool’s antibacterial qualities, you don’t have to wash your Joe very often. Just air your Joe outside for a night, and he will be ready for wear the next day!
Still, we recommend washing your Joe every now and then. You can do this simply and easily on the wool wash cycle in the washing machine (30° maximum, spin cycle no more than 600 rpm.). Take a look at the maintenance instructions below for best results.
