A traditional polo shirt, like the ones you know. Or think you know! For this one is of premium quality, the deluxe version. Still featuring a ribbed collar and cuffs and side splits, and with handsome mother of pearl buttons. The difference? This one is made of a special blend of 84% superfine Merino wool (breathable, colourfast and shape-retaining), 12% silk (subtle shine) and 4% elastane (form-fitting).

The most classic dark blue. Unlike ‘True Navy’ this colour is unblended, meaning blue to the core.

The Miraculous Micron

Joe uses ultrafine, superfine and extrafine Merino wool for its essentials. The difference is in the micron count. One micron equals one millionth of a metre, and refers to the diameter of the Merino fibre. The lower the micron count, the thinner the fibre, and the softer the wool feels on your skin. The reason? Thin fibres are more flexible, and caress your skin on contact.


Light weight

Joe’s thin pullovers. At 170 to 310 grammes literally lightweight. First level of coziness. The first pullover you get out when seasons change.

Mid weight

A textbook pullover. At 260 to 560 grammes a little heavier and warmer than their thin cousins. Great for autumn and winter.

Heavy weight

Our warmest Joes for when temperatures are at their lowest. At 450 to 950 grammes your Joe turns into your personal heater that will help you through any winter.

Returns are free of charge within the EU. There are two ways to return your order:

  1. 1) You can use a carrier of your choice. Please follow the instructions that came with your order.
  2. 2) Go to one of our brick and mortar stores in Amsterdam, Leidschendam, Antwerp or Düsseldorf.

Sustainability

Sustainability and Joe go hand in hand. Let us tell you why:

- Joe stands for slow fashion. Meaning we do not bring out seasonal collections, but only styles that will last you all year round for many years. For the same reason we don’t “do” sales and do not keep stocks that must be destroyed by season’s end.

- All our styles are made of Merino wool, if not fully at least partially. Wool is one of the most sustainable materials used for clothing. It is all natural, fully biodegradable, plastic-free and recyclable. And not unimportant – we only use Merino wool produced by non-mulesed sheep.

- When dyeing, we always go for the most sustainable process that uses as few chemicals as possible. Our dyeing process is ‘bluesign’-certified. The lack of chemicals is one of the reasons why our Joes hardly pill.

- All our packaging is made of 100% biodegradable cardboard and recycled and recyclable plastics.

- And lastly: with our fits that are constant and dependable (not so easy with woollen items as you might think) and our smart size calculator we have minimised the number of returns.

Pique is a special knitting technique that makes the material even sturdier yet more breathable, with a subtle relief. Made of a special blend of 84% superfine Merino wool (breathable, colourfast and shape-retaining), 12% silk (subtle shine) and 4% elastane (form-fitting).

Merino wool is praised world wide for its softness, strength, breathability and temperature regulating benefits. In addition, merino wool is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. All these beautiful natural properties make merino wool an extremely comfortable fabric to wear. Perfect for all seasons!

Maintenance Blue Label Pique

Treat your refined Blue Label like you’d treat blue blood.

Wash on the wool setting, 30 °C, and use a low spin setting, 600 RPM max. Your pique models prefer the company of like-minded items. Please close buttons and zips before washing. Unlike other Blue Label styles it is best to hang dry the pique model. A quick touch-up with an iron, and your pique model will look and feel as new.

Take care of your Joe

  1. Woolwash at 30° and 600 rpm max
  2. Use wool detergent, no softeners
  3. No tumbledry (could be deadly)
  4. Iron away with a little steam
  5. No bleach, this will kill the colour
